Continuous Pyrolysis Plant

Continuous pyrolysis plant is a more effective way to process waste rubber, old tires, oil sludge, plastic, etc. It is preferred by investors for its continuous working method, large capacity, and high automation level. In recent years, Beston Machinery has exported and installed fully continuous tyre pyrolysis plants to several countries, such as Romania, South Africa, the Philippines, etc. Below are some pictures for your reference.

From the tables above, you may find some differences, for example, the pyrolysis reactor design, the working method, the daily capacity, etc. Of course, the differences will make the cost different as well.

Pyrolysis Reactor

The continuous pyrolysis reactor is horizontal, while the batch and semi-continuous plants are rotary. In order to make the reactor be heated evenly, we employ rotary design in batch and semi-continuous plants. By comparison, the continuous reactor uses the U-shape tube to prolong the pyrolysis time.

Daily Capacity

For small pyrolysis equipment, it can process 5-10 tons of raw materials each batch. Each batch needs about 16 to 20 hours, which means you can process at most 3 batches in 2 days. While for the fully continuous one, it can handle 20-24 tons of waste each day. By the way, we will equip some auxiliary equipment to improve the real capacity, for example, a shredder for tyre recycling plant.

Working Method

As mentioned, for the batch pyrolysis system, you need to pre-heat first. After pyrolysis, you need to wait to cool down and then discharge the carbon black. However, there is no need to wait for cooling down the reactor in a continuous pyrolysis unit. It can work continuously for 24 hours a day. You just need to preheat and then stop for care and maintenance after 5 to 6 days to save your time and fuel cost.

Shipping & Installation

You can see from the pictures, Beston continuous pyrolysis equipment is of modular design, which makes it easier to transport and install. Also, it is more automatic, easy and safe to operate.

Beston Tips for Choosing Small or Continuous Pyrolysis Reactor

Each coin has two sides. Each kind of plant has its own features. Here are some tips from an experienced pyrolysis project supplier, Beston Group.

1. Know well how many raw materials you are going to process.

In fact, Beston can customize waste recycling solutions according to your needs. Except for the batch, semi-continuous and fully continuous plants to choose from, we also design the “One Pyrolysis System with Two Reactors” unit, which is highly favored.

2. Learn more about local policies.

Some governments, for example, South Africa, have financial subsidies on tyre recycling or plastic reducing, etc. Moreover, you need to know the emission standard, certificates, etc. These factors will influence where you will locate your plant and which equipment you need to buy.

3. Your budget.

To be honest, it is not cheap to buy a pyrolysis machine. In particular, the continuous pyrolysis plant is more expensive. So you need to know your budget well and choose a suitable plant. Meanwhile, remember to make clear what the pyrolysis plant cost includes. And you can also contact Beston for a detailed pyrolysis plant project report.

4. Try to get more information on pyrolysis.

Before you choose a pyrolysis system, you’d better know some important factors to measure a plant, for example, the fuel consumption, labor force input, oil yield, failure rate, service life, etc. Just consider a plant in the long term.

5. Pay more attention to the suppliers.

Taking Beston Machinery for example, we have our own factory, professional designers and engineers. That is to say, we are both a manufacturer and a supplier. So you can come to visit our factory on site at any time. Also, we will offer you a factory sales price. In addition, we have developed a full after-sales system, which contains more than 60 engineers and 8 overseas offices. So you will never worry about the after-sales service.

Conclusion

Small or continuous pyrolysis plant has its own features. And what you need to do is to choose the one fits your conditions well. No matter what your option is, you can contact Beston Machinery for help. Just fill in the blanks below, and we will contact you very soon.
