Pyrolysis Reactor
The continuous pyrolysis reactor is horizontal, while the batch and semi-continuous plants are rotary. In order to make the reactor be heated evenly, we employ rotary design in batch and semi-continuous plants. By comparison, the continuous reactor uses the U-shape tube to prolong the pyrolysis time.
Daily Capacity
For small pyrolysis equipment, it can process 5-10 tons of raw materials each batch. Each batch needs about 16 to 20 hours, which means you can process at most 3 batches in 2 days. While for the fully continuous one, it can handle 20-24 tons of waste each day. By the way, we will equip some auxiliary equipment to improve the real capacity, for example, a shredder for tyre recycling plant.
Working Method
As mentioned, for the batch pyrolysis system, you need to pre-heat first. After pyrolysis, you need to wait to cool down and then discharge the carbon black. However, there is no need to wait for cooling down the reactor in a continuous pyrolysis unit. It can work continuously for 24 hours a day. You just need to preheat and then stop for care and maintenance after 5 to 6 days to save your time and fuel cost.
